My 6 Favorite Quotes
Quotes, I absolutely love them. The motivation they give, how straight forward they are, and how real they can be. How such a little quote can mean so much, and lead peoples lives, their direction, and outlook on everything. Quotes shape some of us, and help us through problems. I for one, am a firm believer of “quality” quotes, and take them into my daily practice as much as I can.
“A superior man is modest in his speech, but exceeds in his actions.”
“He who angers you, conquers you.”
“There are two rules to success in life. Rule 1. Don’t tell people everything you know.”
“All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence; then success is sure.”
“The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.”
“Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value.”
What are your favorite quotes? I am always interested in hearing some feedback =]

Movement
Life is moving, things are changing, drama comes up, problems occur, and bullshit happens. What is this, I guess we call it life right? Money problems, bitching, and the occasional stir of “What the fuck do I do? Where should I go?” So many people bitch, so many people complain about their problems, depression, anxiety, not having motivation. Surprisingly, about 100% of these people have excuses to back up their problems. Everyone finds a way to justify themselves with bullshit excuses. I have a friend whom I’ll quote from, whom he quoted from a movie I believe, but it’s a good quote.
“we must remember that all these things, the nuances, the anomalies, the subtleties, which we assume only accessorize our days, are effective for a much larger and nobler cause. They are here to save our lives.”
You know what else I have come to learn and notice? People who constantly tell themselves no, or I can’t do it. Or the many other excuses people have for themselves such as “I don’t have the money, I’m not rich like you, I don’t have the time, etc…” You know those lines are a series of gun shots in your cerebellum (I believe that’s a part of your brain). People who consistently doubt themselves like that are not only shooting themselves, but trapping their creative freedom of believing, and figuring out a way to dig themselves out of their problems. People who call themselves poor, and complain are only digging themselves deeper, because they ACCEPT the fact that they are poor losers with no lives who can’t help themselves, and just complain. I remember a day when I was broke, I was the opposite of what I am typing right now. I dreamed of being rich, wished it, wanted it, and pretended I had money when I didn’t.
I don’t want to get in depth about me right now, but if I had better financial literacy, I would have been drinking pina coladas in Egypt… ? Eh. Anyways. It’s not the lack of education I didn’t receive in high school, that has nothing to do with it. School is important yes, but not that important. If one can’t learn to manage their money and learn the differences between liabilities and assets, anyone could be come rich with motivation. Quick question for you, if you read this whole thing, answer this question in a comment. Is your house (if you were to buy one or have one now) an asset or liability?
I decided to invest my time in some good books over the last few weeks, and have come across some amazing new ideas. Seriously. If there is one thing I love to do, it’s sitting and reading. For anyone out there who is struggling, you need to stop working for money, and make money work for you. Okay, we all need to work for money right now to make some money. But we need to learn how to make money work for us. Every wealthy person you and I know, I can guarantee that money is working for them. Do you think they are working 9-5 jobs, sitting in cubicles, or being the bitch running errands, OR do you think they have investments, or companies making money for them? So what, ya they manage their own companies and investments, but they ain’t scrubbin the toilets! I mean seriously, that’s what I do, I have websites that make me money, and all I do is manage them now.
If you want to change your life, you need to do it, and stop complaining people. Only one person can do it, and that person is you. You need to help yourself, and stop dicking around. You won’t get rich by clubbing every night, smoking buddah, and fucking off every day. Make money work for you.
PS. Youtube “Anthony Robbins,” and buy the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad.” Those two things should be enough to change your life. If you have time, and need some basic financial help, read the book “The Richest Man in Babylon.”

My first personal unit test
I found this great idea I am going to start using. It’s called a personal unit test. I have a backpack reminder every morning around 9;30 AM. Your probably asking what is a personal unit test? You can check my personal unit test out right here. I will be twittering my results every morning, basically grading myself on how well I pass my own test! Well let’s hope I keep up with it every morning! I will be twittering my first grade here shortly.

10 amazing time killers
We all have those moments, either when we just stare at the screen and do absolutely nothing. Or we end up finding our selves extremely bored sitting on the computer trying to find something to do… Right? Well I know I find myself there sometimes, and you probably have too :).

The obvious top 5 websites
If you can’t kill time with one of these websites, your doomed. If your not working, and the sites listed above aren’t up to par with your boredom time, then what are you doing on the internet? Wasting your time on MSN/AIM, or looking at porn is just an awful way to kill your time. If your going to kill time, try to do it somewhat productively! Ok, so maybe MySpace and Facebook aren’t productive either, but hey… It’s my job
They are both very powerful promotional tools, same goes with Youtube, and Digg. At least these time killers get my brain thinking, you know what I mean? Try to find your top 5 time killers, and use it to your advantage.
And of course, my favorite 5
-
1. Take notes, make a list.
If your anything like me at all, which we might be if your reading my blog. Your probably somewhat inspired, driven, and want to make something of yourself. I know I am, we all have our ups and downs though, right? Take this time killer of mine, and try it out! I can seriously spend days organizing and making lists. Don’t do that, you’ll never finish them all. Make a list which you can actually accomplish. I try to organize my lists into two categories, Personal and Business. -
2. Read a book
Relaxing on a couch, with absolutely no noise, or lying in bed, is one of the best things I can do for myself. Sometimes I will put the TV on for some background noise though ;). The point is, open a book, try it out. I know a lot of people have trouble staying focused and reading books, I know I do, but somehow I maintain. If you don’t like reading for knowledge, read for pleasure. I read for both. The knowledge I gain from computer/business books grows into experience (I take it to practice and apply the techniques) which gives me pleasure. Knowledge is one thing, action is another. - 3. Start a Hobby
Start a hobby. If you already have one, do it, practice it, enjoy it. There are many things you can learn and enjoy. Hobbies can also build your character and sometimes become a big part of you. For instance, I decided one day I was going to learn magic tricks… It ended up being a big part of me, although I did resign from it. It was a great learning experience and fun while it lasted! Don’t forget chess! -
4. Exercise and eat right

Eating right and exercising is a great thing, if you want to take care of yourself, I strongly recommend pushing yourself to get at least some exercise in during the week. If you have absolutely nothing to do, go to your local gym or even run around the block and do some push-ups! Take care of yourself, and the results will be great. You will feel better about yourself, healthier, and much more motivated in life. -
5. Starbucks

This can kind of involve the first 3 I mentioned above (make a list, reading, and start a hobby). I felt Starbucks deserved it’s own time killer position on my list. I go to Starbucks way to much, but I get important things done. I would bring books, writing pads, my laptop, pens, etc… Starbucks is a great place to catch up on any work you may have, maybe pull up AskMen.com, and start reading some articles! The list goes on!
Conclusion
Well there you have it, my top 10 list of time killers! Although my time killers are somewhat productive, I try to be as much as I can. I know, you guys were expecting stuff that would be fun time killers huh? Well guess what, this blog wasn’t so you could watch TV, eat cookies, and play around. These are tips I use as much as possible to kill time if needed! I hope this helps you guys, let me know how it goes! Get going on that new hobby!
