MySpaceSupport.com
I know this doesn’t mean much to anyone, but if anyone has noticed, my Google Ranking has dropped to page 3 in the SERPs. Now I know what a lot of you are thinking, “What a lazy ass, he deserves it, he never works on his fucking site! What a loser!” I know, it’s true, I never did work on my site, haha. Just kind of lost motivation for MySpace Sites, seeing other new sites spawn out of no where and suddenly grow, but I just realized why they are growing and MSS isn’t. Cause I don’t WORK, actually I didn’t just realize this. I’ve know it all along, I just decided to take action now!
Anyways, the reason I dropped people is not cause of that reason, the reason I dropped in the SERPs is because I threw away my doc age, link age, link equity, and so forth. There are a lot of variables that determine a websites ranking in Google, Yahoo!, MSN, etc… Ever since I been in Cali, all I been doing is reading, studying, and understanding how things work. I recently started dabbling in PHP again, touching up my rusty old skills, dabbling in SEO in all variations (the stupid hats). And to explain what I meant by doc age, link age, and link equity. MySpaceSupport.com was and still is one of the “fine wines” in the industry, I have been around for a lot longer than most of the guys in this industry, I have built a reputation with Google for a while now. When I was in Miami, back in early June 2007, I did a complete revamp on MSS (approx 3 months ago).
So this is your SEO lesson for the day:
When you build a reputation with any site, and you build a set foundation of links, quality of links, quantity of links, whatever. I had roughly 800,000 backlinks according to Yahoo! (which is the most accurate as of this writing). Now when you completely change your site, change your URL styling, and you have no intentions on making sure you perform a 301 redirect with mod_rewrite, checking for 404 pages, that were indexed by Google (this is very very bad). Google started to spider/crawl my site, and every URL was different (thus throwing away my link/doc age), so I am basically starting over now. Starting over with an older domain will help, which helped even keep me page 3 cause of my reputation, but Google now doesn’t know what to think. Now I have a shit load of ideas and tricks I will be performing to get this to back where I belong. TLA ain’t shit when it comes to SEO, although it will help a little. Anyone out there using Link Farms (cough COOP Ad-Network, Link Vault), better watch your ass
— Cause I ain’t playing fair! Haha.
So without further ado
Here I come bitches!
BTW. If your an SEO noob, and need some guidance tricks, and what not. I recommened starting with Jon Waraas, he’s a good guy with some good posts
And when your ready for big timing “cough* like myself *cough” let me know!

This is some interesting stuff. I’ve been into Technology, Internet, and Computers for quite some time. I could easily say I’m a big nerd with it. But to be honest, I have no idea what you mean by any of that there… I mean I dunno what SEO is or SERPs. But its very interesting. Anything I don’t understand or know about, I am always intrigued to knowing about it. If you could please send me any links you currently know of that could help me understand this stuff, and anything else about web design or web in general, I’d really appreciate that. As I search daily and the most popular thing I find is MySpace sites, but most of them are annoying and shittier than hell its just bullcrap all around. Your site, and a few others are the only good ones I have ever found. I support MySpace Support, if you’d be okay with it, I’d like to have a .PSD of your logo and fonts to make my own banner with it, on to my MySpace page, and I’ll support you all the way man.
Peace & Respect,
-Russ
