Day four: I try so hard Part II
Here I am on day four, starting to feel pretty good. I have some good ideas bouncing around, and ready to work! This is going to be a small continuation off my first blog “I try to hard Part I.” I am getting a lot of hate comments which I am actually starting to love. It’s a damn good feeling to know I have so many strong haters who are jealous of me and think I have no skills or talent what so ever, and just think I got lucky and threw all my money out the window. Most internet entrepreneurs out there know about Ebaums World right? This guy (Eric Baum) didn’t even know how to make a basic page in HTML till his junior year in high school, the site was intended for a school project. Perfect luck and timing before the big internet boom, he was there, do some research, he will even admit to it. He couldn’t even code a basic contact form if he had to, he has a huge office and a bunch of employees who keep his site working. I guess I can’t argue that, cause I do the same thing right now.
One difference though, I could back myself up and code an entire CMS if I had too, not some sloppy ass procedural childish PHP script either. Now I don’t want to start bragging or anything, but I have worked with PHP for over 5 years, and OOP for a few months, I have made shopping carts, CMS’s, etc… The list goes on, one difference between me and others, I lose interest if I don’t need to do it right away. (Not bragging, just know one knows what I can do and have done.)
The reason I bring this up is because of all the hate comments I have been getting, it’s so beautiful to know that people acknowledge my writing, and read the entire thing! People like Mr. G and the new hater who goes by the identity of Big King. I thought I would post his comments up here on my blog for everyone to see (with his IP — so if he has cable or something, it’s most likely his IP will stay static for awhile).
His first comment…

Honestly, who do you want to feel sorry for your stupidity? You blew your money on useless shit, fake friends, and shitty business deals. Driveable flopped, you already know that. You paid $110k for a website that could have been done for under $5k.BTW, there is already another huge myspace like car site online with about 20,000 members (carspace.com, boompa.com, and there is 1 more that I don’t remember). These are choices and mistakes you made. People are getting at you for it, cause your exposing yourself to it. I wouldn’t even bother making a dumbass blog post like the ones you have recently made. They’re pointless and only bring the value of your image down.
G00d l3ck d3de!”
Now I would just like to take a moment and thank Big King for his honesty and feelings towards me. I blew my money on useless shit, fake friends, and shitty business deals. Now correct me if I am wrong, but everyone has been through the stage of shitty friends, and that’s what happens in life, theres no controlling that unless you want to be a complete dick and blow everyone off and live in complete silence your entire life. I trusted my friends, and gave them a chance, I guess I learned the hard way, so what? As for useless shit (I won’t even get into this, because all I know is I am living perfectly fine and dandy), I might as well say your useless shit but I won’t, cause I am bigger than that. Do you go around blogs all day putting people down to make yourself feel better, and I am pretty sure you don’t know the first thing about programming or web design (I could be wrong — but highly doubtful), because respectable people who know what they are doing don’t talk shit. That’s it, end of story. You don’t know what your doing (Yes, I made an assumption, which is probably rude of me assuming something “I don’t probably know” like some people, hehe). I paid 110k for a piece of shit website? “Driveable?” Learn how to spell before you begin criticizing others. You can call Drivable a flop if you want, but all I will say for now is “just watch and learn.” I have no doubt in my mind Drivable will make it, I haven’t even announced it anywhere except for my blog. You think I am worried about the value of my image? I could give a shit what people view my image as, this is my blog, my life, I enjoy letting other people know what is going on. And just to let everybody out there know they can do it too.
His second comment…

Heh, I have no respect for myself? Look who’s blogging about his failures… Good luck with driveable (flop) and the object oritneted (laughs) MSS. I’m hoping you werent dumb enough to contract 2advanced (worse company ever for web projects) to do MSS.”
The reason he said “No respect for myself?” is because I commented back saying he had no respect for himself. Anyways, blogging about my failures? Look at me, oh boy! Pick up any business book. All they do is talk about how they made it from ground zero and got to the top. It’s how are damn society is, people like to see something from nothing grow to the absolute everything. It’s inspirational and motivational. Not to mention, the books also mention to ignore the haters, because really, they just hate themselves. I don’t want to sound like I am a big deal or anything, cause I am most definitely NOT. But it’s obvious you’re jealous, whether it is subconsciously or not. Now I just have to defend 2A for the nasty note you just made. I hate trash talking people, I absolutely hate it, I have never been one to ever talk people down, make someone feel bad, or anything even related! Just the fact that you could call 2A “the worse web company ever,” not to mention your lame spelling “worse web company.” If you could design a website, flash animation, 3d video, audio, or program in PHP/ASP/CFM (this list goes on) 1% the quality of theirs, I would be more than suprised (yes 1% of their quality). Your ignorance makes it completely obvious why you trash talk others, therefore I’m not mad at you, I just simply just feel bad for you.
His third comment…

Salute to all you ass kissers on this blog to. Elvis, where are you man? Aren’t you going to kiss andrews ass to get a link on MSS for a little boost in traffic? Sold your site and forget about good old Andrew huh, aww.. Where are the rest of the “we love you andrew crowd†aka “We hate you but love your money and freebesâ€.
Cut the grass around your clique so you can see the snakes Andrew!”
I hope to god Big King is under the age of 24, because of his complete immaturity. I have nothing left to say about Big King, except grow up.
Another hate comment…
“Scott.s | scott.s@shosting.com | shosting.com | IP: 75.42.148.61
Big King,
What did you expect from someone who couldn’t even pass basic high school classes? He’s no different than any of the other nobodies who got lucky and made a quick buck but weren’t experienced enough with managing money to hold on to it. Andrew I’ll give you $60k cash for your M6. I know you’re hurting. Let me know if you’re interested.
-Scott S.”
Ahh, it’s so great. I couldn’t even pass basic high school classes! Scott, you are so right. I dropped out because I was completely incapable of adding 2 and 2, reading text books, and studying for tests. I would of rather read PHP books, studied SEO, make websites, and get real life practice 5 years earlier than everybody else working at their degree. I am actually surprised, Scott has “basic” pronunciation and spelling. I really admire that you are calling me a nobody and everyone else related to the genre we work in. Instead of the 60k cash, how about you give me a blow job? Is shosting.com yours? Do you even know how to manage a linux box, or do you just work with window servers? I am surprised with somebody so intelligent as yourself, you’re using Plesk? Being the genius that you are, I would of imagined you coding your own control panel. (Sarcasm.)
Luck is 50% of the game in life, skill and talent is the other 50%. They’re are so many talented people out there who won’t get make it anywhere, because they don’t have the drive, motivation, or even the communication skills. I wouldn’t like to call my website 100% luck either, because I did have the drive and desire to create it. The talent, and skills needed to create the design, generators, and figure out how to market to MySpace users. But that doesn’t matter, anyone out there can do it right? Or buy the pre-made rip off of my original site back in October 2005 from ebay.com or sitepoint.com. Those scripts spreaded like a virus, and the market became overly fucking saturated. The truth is, the person who made the first distribution was Kyle (myspacegeeks.com), he ripped my site because he had access, and began selling it. But that is a whole different story.
They’re is actually a lot more haters than you guys would imagine, but it’s boosting my motivation so much, I love it. It’s actually very inspirational to just know how many people want to see me fail. Because I strive for nothing short of success, and I hope you guys don’t either. I really want to start blogging about more inspirational stories, to help motivate others who read my blog. I have been programming and designing for years, I actually stopped designing a long time ago, but every once in a while, I will dabble.
It seems a lot of people don’t know what I do, either if they are friends IRL, acquaintances, online friends, whatever… Well a long time ago, 1.5 yrs ago, I used to program in PHP/MySQL, and make websites for myself. I have been doing SEO for the last year and would like to say I definitely know a good amount ;). I have been using Photoshop since version 4, and know every god damn technical aspect their is to that program. I got into photography about eight months ago, and would like to say I am pretty good. I can edit photos like no other, and make them completely flawless. I have an eye for what looks right, and what looks good. You can see my photography at Anrew Fashion Dot Com.
I leave to Cali the 1st - 6th for a wedding photoshoot, just a heads up. I’ll definitely blog while I am out in Cali, and I will also be sure I get the photos up! I hope everyone is looking forward to my new sites to boom, once I put in some advertising and SEO work, and content of course! Remember all you need to succeed is drive, motivation, and of course not losing sight of what you want to do.
