Photoshoot!
Well today was another lazy day up till around 3PM at least, I swear this Tylenol is making me dizzzzzy! But it keeps my tooth from aching
. Around 3PM, I had to setup for a photoshoot, and oh boy, the setup process went just dandy. The background support system which held my paper, decided to break. Eric and I ended up tinkering with that for like 30 fricken minutes! In the end we realized we were getting no where, so we taped it :). Gangster, I know. But after that, I would have to say the shoot went pretty successful. My Rosie of course did the girls Makeup and Hair, and it was just oh so fab! Would you like to see pictures?
Note: The beautiful new Inverse Photography tag/logo in the corner, cool isn’t it?
Note Also: I have finally decided to start charging for photoshoots
I have become confident enough with Rose doing all the glamour beauty stuff, and when we work together, it’s like BOOM! We can come up with some cool ideas.
Note Again: I just can’t wait till the “gosh” darn snow goes away so I can shoot outside! Oh man, the photoshoots will be amazing! Although, I am going to try to do a photoshoot while the snow is out, but will it be freeeeeezing!
PS. Prices start at $75 per outfit, and $50 per outfit there on after. (Includes makeup, hair styling, and 1 fully edited photo per outfit)
Anyways, moving on. Nerd time. So recently I have decided to pick up a few books, well a few meaning more than three and less than 20? PHP, Ajax, Javascript, MySQL, etc… I decided I need to start programming again! So I have been reading a lot about OOP w/ PHP. The wonders of Object Oriented Programming is simply astonishing. Especially with high traffic sites, cough * mine * cough. To bad I didn’t code my site w/ OOP, Caching, and a Templating System. I would have saved my self hours and hours of confusion, downtime, etc… But, I have always been a procedural programmer, till next month baby!
I always forget to save my movie ticket stubs, I have decided I want to save every ticket of every movie I go to this year. But I think I will just forget, so maybe I can just post the movies I see in my blog? Great idea, damn! Maybe I can just post a review too and my personal opinion on the movie too? Nah, that would take to much work. Let me see what I can recap on this year so far:
The Good Shepherd (sucked)
Night at the Museum (amazing)
Stomp the Yard (amazing!)
Apocalypto (absolutely stunning! at least if blood doesn’t offend you!)
Charlotte’s Web (if you have a sense of love, amazing!)
Alpha Dog (wow)
The Pursuit of Happyness (wow, I was inspired)
I don’t know if I am missing anything, but so far I am at 7 movies this year! Yay! I guess that covers everything… Well actually, let’s take a moment in remembrance of my kitty.

Oh ya, one more thing, maybe it’ll make Cathy or Cathie? & Doug smile

Awwwww, baby Koga! For those of you who don’t know, it’s my old doggy, I gave it to Rose, Rose gave it to her parents. Funny? Yes
Oh one more thing, Rose when she was a blonde.

Note: How cute she was & how I had hair!

I think I like no hair better

Hey Andrew, I’m curious about your photoshoots. Do you guys mainly do it for the fun of it, for your websites, for stock photos, etc? Pictures look great

By the way - In addition to PHP + AJAX, take a look at Ruby on Rails. For anyone with a basic understanding of OOP, it isn’t a big leap at all, and there’s some very motivating videos out there as to why RoR is so badass and speedy…
